So, I asked 10 trivia questions back in August after returning to LA from my trip to Atlanta.
I promised you a Ruby Tuesday Gift card and a free pass to That Guy Movie for answering the questions. I have to go back and read that blog post again to see what I said.
That seems so long ago; enough for me to become utterly overwhelmed with the movie. I guess the excitement of meeting and hanging out with everyone then made me just say stuff. It seemed like a good idea at the time. After all, I had a blast there at Ruby Tuesdays. It gave me a tremendous lift back to LA. But once my dad and I began writing the movie script, it was all over. I started forgetting everything. My mom already keeps a Jeanine calendar on her wall at home. I also forgot bills due, traffic court, traffic school doctors and dentist appointments, haircuts; it’s endless.
I really wish I had someone to do all the stuff for me. Since I don’t, I’ll have to at least give someone a Ruby Tuesday and a free pass To That Guy Movie. I know I said it so now I going to do it.
I realize it’s been months since I posted to this blog. Trying to get the movie for That Guy finished has been most challenging. Keeping you informed on the movie progress via myTwitter and Facebook page has been so much easier than having to find the time to sit down and write a blog post. But I know that I still had to do it. For one, there is the unfinished business of announcing the winner of the trivia contest that we started after my trip to Atlanta back in August. And two, it is a blog page and someone has to post to on it (any volunteers?). So now with the movie done and post production almost complete, I will approach this endeavor with a renewed energy. Well, at least I’ll try to be more consistent.
The first few days on the set of That Guy Movie has been hectic and full of surprises.
Sitting on the panel at the Los Angeles Film School this past Wednesday (Sept. 10) was certainly a unique experience for me. Sharing perspectives and hanging with such notables as Jeffrey Bell - (writer: The X-Files, Alias, V, Spartacus, Agents of Shield), John Rice - (writer: Bonnie & Clyde – TV miniseries on History Channel and A&E), Lauren Morelli (writer: Orange is the New Black, Netflix) and Brett Konner (creator/writer: Deadbeat, Hulu Original Series) was without a doubt fun, insightful and very much worthwhile.
While each panel member had a unique perspective, the one thing we all shared is a love for what we do and an unwavering commitment to our craft.

I ran across this picture a few days ago. I'm not even sure I took it. It reminds me a lot of where I was just a few years ago. It was such a small unit compared to where I live now, but in so many ways, it was better.
The tweet by me inviting fans of "Deon" and "That Guy" to have a drink with me was so random. I didn't really think anyone would show up. Even as Bridgett Burton aka @poeticsoul_29, a fan of the show and twitter follower, met my dad and me as we stood at the restaurant entrance, I was not sure if we should take the two open seats at the bar, or maybe…wait to see if anyone was going to show up. Not wanting to miss an opportunity to take advantage of the happy hour prices that were only available at the bar,
